"Thinking about how I live with technology since 2020"

Technology has become a must for many people in 2020. You wont see many people living without smart devices, television, computers of gaming consoles.

It is a great way to keep contact for people all over the world, especially during the pandemic. With many people locked inside, technology allowed for them to escape their homes and explore.

I feel that without the tech that we have, sadness would have all spread to everywhere and the technology was almost a hidden saviour.

I feel that technology is a hidden hero that many people don´t realise and that that people its almost taken for granted or not even a gift. People just expect to have it without realising all the work that goes behind it.

I know for a fact, whenever my internet or tech isn´t working, my life doesn´t move forward much and I definitely realise how much I need it.

"How did Day 1’s “Interface Annotations” exercise inform and lead you to how you approached Day 2’s “Layer Statements” exercises?"

Annotation all my most used websites gave me some interesting understanding of the layout and the reasons for the design.

My "Layer Statement" - Enquiring for insight in the interface.

One of the biggest issues with websites nowadays is that, yes there is one for everything, but theyre mostly not user friendly for the older generations who have been known to struggle with newer technology.

"Enquire for insight in the interface"

My layout statement dives into the confusing and interaction loss on a website.

“Links are the oxygen of the web. Not all websites have links, but all links connect to other webpages, within the same site or elsewhere.”

This (above) passage helped inspire me a lot for creating my Figma prototype. I struggled to visualise my statement in a basic form and ended up creating multiple different prototypes until I finally settled on something that worked for me.

All websites and search engines are linked. Picture the internet as a giant ball of never string that is constantly being unravelled. All the information found on it can be found, read about, downloaded and extending to different web pages and websites.

My Figma prototype depicts this endless cycle of looking up information, and clicking on multiple links, looking at related or completely new sites.
